Engineering Services
System Engineering Our systems engineering skills have helped achieve significant advancements in the sophistication and precision levels of US military weapons systems. We have extensive experience in this arena from concept development, prototype design, demonstration, and transition to production. Our staff includes engineers, computer scientists, subject matter experts, research assistants, and senior acquisition specialists. We have participated in the creation of some of the more significant and sophisticated weaponry available to our military today. This includes the Tactical Tomahawk (the first precision-guided missile with a two-way data link that allows it to be updated in flight), the Tactical Tomahawk Penetrator Variant, and Precision Terrain-Aided Navigation.
Environmental Engineering Our team of highly experienced and educated professionals is comprised of civil, environmental and systems engineers, analysts and scientists. In the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina our team provided personnel to classify and determine volumes of debris both ashore and below surface (using sonar) using a comprehensive Geographic Information System and site specific database to house over 2,300 miles of waterway data throughout Louisiana and Mississippi.
Network Engineering We develop intelligent network architectures that support both voice and Internet Protocol (IP) with identity based authentication for computers, configurations, and personnel. PSS transformed the U.S. Army, Pacific (USARPAC) legacy distributed IT systems into a centrally managed enterprise Pacific LANDWARNET (PLWN) at Fort Shafter, Hawaii. The PLWN is comprised of Secret Internet Protocol Router Network (SIPRNET) and Non-secure Internet Protocol Router Network (NIPRNET) networks and systems. The systems consists of workstations, file servers, print servers, application servers, enterprise Email, enterprise back up and recovery systems, and management systems.
